A versatile cryogenic system for liquid argon detectors

Abstract Detectors for direct dark matter search using noble gases in the liquid phase as a detection medium need to be coupled liquefaction, purification and recirculation systems. A dedicated cryogenic system has been assembled operated at INFN-Naples laboratory with aim liquefy purify argon used an active target detectors study scintillation ionization signals detected by large SiPM arrays. The is mainly composed of double wall cryostat hosting detector, stage reduce impurities below one part per billion level, condenser argon, gas panel connected equipped custom pump. main features are reported well performance, long term operation stability terms most relevant thermodynamic parameters.
